A. Finkl & Sons to expand Chicago steel manufacturing operations

In a press release Wednesday, the State of Illinois announced that Chicago, Illinois-based steel manufacturer A. Finkl & Sons Co. will receive a $10.3 million business investment package to help the company expand its operations.

A. Finkl & Sons plans to construct a new $150-million manufacturing facility on Chicago's south side. The company plans to redevelop the 44-acre former Verson Steel plant, that will serve as A. Finkl & Sons' North American headquarters.
