The Russian pipe producer TMK Group (TMK) has announced that in early July its subsidiary OOO ТМК Oilfield Services launched production operations at a tubing line at its Buzuluk-based facilities.

The existing processing line used for tubing repairs has been upgraded for tubing production. The annual production capacity of the line is estimated at 11,000 mt of pipes.

As a result, the company will be able to provide customers with a set of services both for maintenance and repair, and with production of high-tech tubular products.

Commenting on the launch of production at the tubing line, TMK Oil Field Services's CEO Sergey Agaphonov stated that the increase of TMK's production capacity in the field of oil and gas is in line with the company's strategic goal to provide a full range of high-tech products and services for the oil and gas industry.
