US HSS prices tick upward as expected

SteelOrbis sources have confirmed that HSS mills’ $7.50 cwt. ($165/mt or $160/nt) price increase has been accepted. As such, current spot market prices are trending at $107-$108 cwt.  ($2,359-$2,381/mt or $2,140-$2,160/nt), FOB mill, against a range of $99.50-$101.50 cwt. ($2,194-$2,238/mt or $1,990-$2,030/nt), FOB mill, late last week.
