Sources close to SteelOrbis have confirmed that spot market prices for US domestic HSS tubing continue to hold at approximately $76.50 cwt. ($1,687/mt or $1,530/nt), FOB mill, reflecting no change since our last report a week ago. However, with HRC prices still in an uptrend, market sources believe a price increase announcement for HSS tubing remains imminent.

Most sources believe that mills will try to push prices up by $5.00 cwt. ($110/mt or $100/nt) once the announcement is released.
