Sources close to SteelOrbis have confirmed that spot market prices for US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing prices continue to hold at $102-$103 cwt. ($2,249-$2,271/mt or $2,040-$2,060/nt), FOB mill, unchanged since our last report a week ago, however, still-falling HRC prices have many within the marketplace thinking that another downward revision is on the horizion.
"It's not a matter of if," a source said. "It's a matter of when and by how much."
