Sources close to SteelOrbis have confirmed that spot market prices for US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing prices are still trending at $102-$103 cwt. ($2,249-$2,271/mt or $2,040-$2,060/nt), FOB mill, unchanged since our last report a week ago. However, it's widely speculated that US HSS prices will undergo additoinal future downward revisions, to close the "enormous" spread between tubing and hot rolled coil prices.
