US HSS prices finally tick downward

Sources close to SteelOrbis have confirmed that spot market prices for US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing have softened by $5 cwt. ($110/mt or $100/nt) since our last report a week ago and are now being heard at $102-$103 cwt. ($2,249-$2,271/mt or $2,040-$2,060/nt), FOB mill.
