US HSS mills announce sweeping price increase

Atlas Tube, Nucor Tubular and ExlTube have announced they will be raising prices on all new orders of US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing by a minimum of $2.50 cwt. ($55/mt or $50/nt) effective immediately, due to ongoing increases in US HRC pricing.

Current US HSS pricing is trending between $50.50-$52.00 cwt. ($1113-$1146/mt or $1010-$1040/nt), ex-mill.
