As with last week, sources close to SteelOrbis have confirmed that spot market pricing for US domestic and import API X-52 line pipe has remained in the range of $50.00-$52.50 cwt. ($1,102-$1,157/mt or $1,000-$1,050/nt), ex-mill. Deeply discounted import line pipe from Korea, which was previously being sold at $45.00-$48.00 cwt. ($992-$1,058/mt or $900-$960/nt) ex-warehouse, is no longer available, and instead, import material from Korea is being offered at price points consistent with the low-end of the domestic range.

Market conditions largely mirror what’s been seen in recent weeks, and sources close to SteelOrbis say they’re still waiting for rig counts and drilling activity to rebound.
