SteelOrbis has learned that while some US domestic line pipe producers are still quoting API-X52 line pipe in the range of $75.00-$77.50 cwt. ($1,653-$1,708/mt or $1,500-$1,550/nt), FOB mill, other mills are quoting at or slightly above $80 cwt. ($1,764/mt or $1,600/nt), FOB mill.
Looking South of the border, API-X52 line pipe from Mexico is still being quoted approximately $67.50 cwt. ($1,488/mt or $1,350/nt), FOB Texas, unchanged in the past week. In terms of offshore offers, imported material from Korea continues to heard at $58.50-$60.00 cwt. ($1,289-$1,323/mt or $1,170-$1,200/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coasts, reflecting no change since our last report a week ago.
