Tube mills announce 4th increase for A53 standard pipe

SteelOrbis has learned that US domestic tube mills have announced yet another $10 cwt. ($220/mt or $200/nt) price increase for A53 Grade A standard pipe. This is the second $10 cwt. ($220/mt or $200/nt) price increase announced in as many weeks, and the 4th increase announced in the past 30 days. Once accepted, prices will rise from $128 cwt. ($2,822/mt or $2,560/nt), FOB mill, to $138 cwt. ($3,042/mt or $2,760/nt), FOB mill.
