Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have followed an upward trend during the past seven days. Overall trading activity has increased and is at normal levels. Upstream billet prices have fluctuated in an upward direction, causing seamless pipe prices to follow a rising trend. Demand has increased ahead of the Labor Day holiday, which has also supported seamless pipe prices. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may indicate some fluctuations.
Chinese domestic welded pipe prices have increased in the past week. Increases in steel strip prices have given strong support to welded pipe prices. Demand has showed an increasing tendency. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may continue to move upwards.
