With support from sufficient demand and higher feedstock prices, Turkish welded pipe prices have increased by $30/mt since last week. In the local market, demand has remained at moderate levels and prices are now at $610-630/mt ex-works for December-January production. Moreover, domestic buyers have gradually been accepting the new offers. Export prices have also increased by $30/mt, rising to $590-600/mt FOB, and sales have continued in the past week mainly to the EU.

"Demand is still sufficient in both local and export markets and raw material prices are increasing day by day. Buyers understand that our production costs are also increasing accordingly and they have accepted the new price levels already. We think we can start selling February production soon," a producer told SteelOrbis.
