Demand has recovered slightly and prices have remained stable since last week in the Turkish welded pipe market. "After the price decreases, buyers have increased their buying activity and we saw better demand since," a pipe producer told SteelOrbis. Currently, the majority of local offers are at $480-510/mt ex-works, some consider the level of $465-470/mt ex-works workable.

On the export side prices were also stable at 470-490/mt FOB and demand has remained low. However, market sources inform that small quantities have been sold to EU at $470/mt FOB.

** Prices are given for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219, on theoretical weight basis.
