During the given week, steel pipe prices have moved sideways amid the slack demand due to the heavy rains. At the same time, high level of raw material prices bolstered steel pipe market. It is thought that steel pipe prices may fluctuate within a limited range in the coming week.

Rebar futures prices at Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) stand at RMB 5,561/mt ($861/mt) on July 21, down RMB 19/mt ($2.9/mt) or 0.34 percent from July 14.
