Meanwhile, rebar futures prices have edged up, exerting a positive impact on the steel pipe market. It is thought that steel pipe prices may increase in the coming week.
Rebar futures prices at Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) stand at RMB 5,034/mt ($792/mt) on March 30, up by RMB 55/mt ($8.6/mt), or 1.1 percent compared to March 23, while up by 0.24 percent compared to the previous trading day, March 29.
