Atlas Tube raises HSS prices again

In a letter to customers Monday, Atlas Tube said it is raising the price on all new orders for Mechanical, HSS and Piling products, effective immediately for all new orders.

Pricing for Mechanical and HSS Shapes up through 16” SQ (Square and Equivalent Rectangles), along with all Mechanical and HSS Rounds up through 20”, will increase by $5.00 cwt. ($100/nt or $110/mt).

Atlas noted that the increase will apply to all unconfirmed quotes and contracts. Other tubing mills are expected to follow suit.
