On May 8, SteelOrbis reported that US domestic scrap traded down $30-35/mt in May.

Researching further, sources inform SteelOrbis that prices ticked down in late week negotiations on weak demand and sufficient inventories that allowed buyers to place further pressure on domestic scrap prices in the Midwest region.
