Scrap prices in the Ohio Valley and US East coast have settled up across the board during the November buy cycle. Additional strength was seen for certain products on the East coast, sources note, due to recent upticks in export cargo prices to Turkey.
Sources further report that there were a handful of "outlier" transactions that took place on the East coast, at price points above the ranges listed below.
