US domestic ferrosilicon trending slightly down on the top of the range

On August 29, SteelOrbis reported US domestic ferrosilicon prices at $2,116-2,180/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that in mid-October, prices in some domestic ferrosilicon transactions increased on the top of the range to $2,200/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh while trading at the same lower end of the previous range.

The present spot price of domestic ferrosilicon is reportedly at $2,116-2,160/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. Compared to late August, the bottom of the range was consistent through October, but decreased $20/mt from the top of the range. Compared to the high point in mid-October, prices have declined $40/mt.
