On Monday, SteelOrbis reported that the dock delivered price for HMS I/II 80:20 scrap, at US East coast ports (Philadelphia) had softened from $245-$250/gt ($249-$254/mt) in early-January, to $220-$225/gt ($224-$229/mt).

As of late Wednesday night, SteelOrbis has learned that dock delivered prices in Philadelphia will revise downward once again, to $210-$215/gt ($213-$218/mt). Sources have indicated that the latest downward revision is due to a belief  "Turkish mills will temporarily delay buys from US East coast exporters."
