Turkish ship scrap prices settle at $415-435/mt

Today, January 25, Izmir-based Turkish mills have reduced their ship scrap purchase quotations by $2-15mt as compared to the levels recorded on January 22. Currently, the general range of ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey are in the range of $415-435/mt. The total decrease in Turkey’s Izmir region for ship scrap purchase prices since the day the downtrend began on January 15 is now $28-40/mt.
