Turkish domestic scrap market continues its rising trend

Today, September 7, some steel mills in Turkey have increased their domestic scrap purchase prices since Friday, September 4, by TRY 50-70/mt or $6-9/mt. Meanwhile, as regards the mills that have kept their lira-based prices stable, their dollar quotations have also moved sideways. As a result, the benchmark DKP grade scrap prices in Turkey has moved up on the upper end to TRY 1,930-2,225/mt ($259-298/mt).
