Turkish chrome ore export offers to China

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Turkish suppliers' offers to China for Cr203 lump chrome ore with 42 percent chrome content are currently standing at $235-250/mt CIF, while Turkish CR203 concentrate chrome ore offers to China with 48 percent chrome content are now at $260-270/mt CIF China. The offer prices above have declined by $5-10/mt since early September.

On the other hand, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's chrome ore export to China amounted to 272,031 mt, constituting 93.3 percent of the country's total export volume.
