Turkey’s ship scrap market stands at $390-408/mt

Turkish mills’ general purchase price range in Turkey’s ship scrap market is currently at $390-408/mt for delivery to mill by truck, $5/mt lower week on week. However, due to the rises observed in the deep sea and short sea scrap segments, ship scrap quotations are also expected to be adjusted upwards in the coming week, if not late today, January 27.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
