Turkey’s ship scrap market stands at $370/mt

Since SteelOrbis report published on August 26, Ozkan Demir Celik has returned to the market and started to buy ship scrap once again. With Turkey’s ship scrap market moving up on the lower end by $10/mt week on week, the price range has converged at $370/mt for delivery to mill by truck.

In Turkey’s Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
