As of today, July 22, Izmir-based Turkish mills have reduced their ship scrap procurement prices by $10/mt to $380/mt. As the declining trend of deep sea scrap quotations has continued this week, even deeper than the first estimations, Turkey’s ship scrap market is also adjusting its purchase prices.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:

Producer

Price ($/mt)

Price change ($/mt)

Özkan Demir Çelik

380

-10

Ege Çelik

380

-10

İDÇ

380

All the above prices are for delivery to mill by truck.
