Turkey’s ship scrap market settles at $452/mt

One Izmir-based Turkish mill has decreased its ship scrap procurement prices by $2/mt week on week. The general price range is now at $435-452/mt for delivery to mill by truck, while only the upper end indicates a $2/mt decline. İDÇ, which is reported to be out of the market at present, still represents the lower end of prices.  

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
