Turkey’s ship scrap market remains stable

Since SteelOrbis’ report published on August 10, Turkey’s ship scrap market has remained stable at $370-405/mt delivery to mill by truck. Producers in the region are securing their scrap needs by holding their prices unchanged as they monitor the short and deep sea segments.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
