Turkey’s ship scrap market moves up to $370/mt

Turkish steelmakers have increased their ship scrap procurement prices by $5-10/mt today, August 8. As a result, Turkey’s ship scrap market has settled at $370/mt for delivery to mill by truck. The return of Habas and the positive sentiment in the import scrap market has supported the price levels in Turkey’s Izmir region.
