Turkey’s ship scrap market decreases to $345-360/mt

Since SteelOrbis’ report published on September 7, Turkey’s ship scrap market has decreased by $10-25/mt, with the price range settling at $345-360/mt for delivery to mill by truck. The lower end is represented by Ozkan Celik, but the other Izmir-based mills have also reduced their ship scrap procurement prices as deep sea scrap quotations are moving down at a fast pace.
