Turkey’s ship scrap market declines, one player leaves the market

Since SteelOrbis report published on August 18, Turkey’s ship scrap market has declined by $10-20/mt to $360-370/mt delivery to mill by truck. It is also observed that an Izmir-based mill has decided to stop accepting ship scrap for now.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
