The Utsunomiya and Tahara plants also reportedly increased their scrap buying prices by JPY 500/mt over the week with both now at about JPY 37,500/mt ($333/mt).

The buying price range at the three sites is reportedly at JPY 37,500-38,000/mt (333-338/mt) delivered to customer. Compared to September 14, the price range increased $7/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $3/mt from the top of the same range.
