Tokyo Steel increased scrap purchase price again

Japanese steel maker Tokyo Steel Manufacturing announced another increase on its scrap purchases this week. The increase is Yen 500/t for all grades of scrap and accordingly new purchase price of H2 scrap at Okayama plant has become Yen 24'500/t. The company has increased its purchase price of scrap by 25% within the last twelve months time.
