Stable trend of Turkey’s ship scrap market continues

Since SteelOrbis’ last report published on November 9, Turkey’s ship scrap market has maintained its stable trend. Prices are still in the range of $475-485/mt delivery by truck. Market players state that the flow from Aliaga to mills is sustainable at the current price levels.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
