Stable trend in Turkish ship scrap market

Having increased the last time on Monday, August 10, ship scrap prices in Turkey have since moved sideways at $270-276/mt, for delivery to mill by truck. The silence in the import scrap market caused by the unwillingness of mills to conclude new deals has had an impact on the ship scrap market, according to market sources.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
