Some Turkish mills revise ship scrap purchase prices

Some of Turkey’s Izmir region-based mills have freshly revised their domestic ship scrap purchase prices, lowering them by $3-4/mt. The purchase prices for the raw material are currently ranging within $232-238/mt for truck delivery to mill. Some new revisions are not excluded in the near term as the import scrap segment remains rather weak.

In Turkey's Aliaga region the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
