Ship scrap purchases prices revised in Turkey

Turkish steel producers based in the Izmir region have decreased their domestic ship scrap purchases prices, following the declines in import scrap prices in Turkey in yesterday’s bookings from Europe, with their ship scrap purchase prices declining by $4-5/mt as compared to September 16. Meanwhile, other producers have kept their prices unchanged, seeking to keep the raw material inflow in line with their needs.

In Turkey's Aliaga region the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
