Ship scrap purchase prices revised down again in Turkey

Turkish mills based in the Izmir region have cut their domestic scrap purchases prices again partly because the situation in the import scrap segment remains unclear for now. As a result, some local mills have lowered their ship scrap purchase prices by $4-10/mt over the past week while seeking to keep the raw material inflow in line with their needs.

In Turkey's Aliaga region the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
