Ship scrap prices revised downwards in Turkey

The further price declines in the import scrap segment in Turkey recorded in the latest deals showing have affected sentiment in the domestic scrap market. As a result, Izmir-based steel producers have decreased their domestic ship scrap purchase prices by $15-25/mt since earlier this week, SteelOrbis has learned.

In Turkey's Aliaga region the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
