Scrap transaction prices increase in Turkey

Market sources confirm that a Turkish steelmaker has concluded an ex-Canada deal for 13,000 mt of HMS I scrap, 30,000 mt of shredded scrap and 7,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at the average price level of $237/mt CFR. The Canadian scrap supplier has increased its prices by $8-10/mt compared to its sales concluded last week in Turkey.
