Scrap offers to Bangladesh trend down

On January 10, SteelOrbis reported containerized shredded scrap offers to Bangladesh at $390-400/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offers on containerized shredded scrap from various destinations are presently trending at $385-390/mt CFR, a decline of $5/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $10/mt from the top of the same range over the past week. Ex-US offers of containerized shredded scrap are reportedly at $385/mt CFR. Sources also inform SteelOrbis that HMS 1 scrap offers are reportedly at $350-355/mt CFR Bangladesh.

Buyers have adopted a wait-and-see approach; therefore, no noteworthy trades have been reported through the week.
