Scrap import prices to Pakistan trend up

On February 20, SteelOrbis reported containerized shredded scrap offers from the UK and US to Pakistan trending up at $375-385/mt CFR Pakistan.

According to sources, the increased demand from Pakistan as a growing steel producer along with higher global scrap offers has resulted in scrap offers to Pakistan from both the UK and US to shift up $10/mt. Offer prices are now reportedly at $385-395/mt CFR Pakistan.
