On March 1, SteelOrbis reported ex-UK and ex-EU containerized shredded scrap import offer prices to India at $330-335/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that shredded scrap (211) import offers have increased through the month and are now reportedly at $342-347/mt CFR Nhava Sheva, up $12/mt. Sources noted to SteelOrbis that buyers are adopting a wait and see position this week as the US domestic market may soften slightly in April, thereby resulting in lower import scrap prices from the US and EU regions.
