On November 7, SteelOrbis reported scrap offers from the EU and UK to Bangladesh at $370-380/mt CFR for containerized shredded scrap offers, and $357-363/mt CFR for containerized HMS I/II 80:20. While the increase on offers was attributed to global movements, sources reported support in the country by active inquiries by importers.

Regional sources inform SteelOrbis that containerized shredded scrap offers have since trended up within the upper range of $370-380/mt CFR while containerized HMS I/II 80:20 offers are reportedly at $360-367/mt CFR, up $3/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $4/mt from the top of the same range. A source noted that both solid import demand and higher domestic scrap prices are supporting imported offer prices.
