Rapid increase in ex-US scrap deal prices in Turkey

According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer has concluded an ex-US deal for 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 90:10 scrap at $310/mt CFR and 5,000 mt of shredded scrap at $315/mt CFR, prompt shipment.

In the most recent ex-US scrap transaction concluded in Turkey prior to this one, HMS I/II 90:10 scrap was at $294/mt CFR.
