Pig iron price in China
L08-10 steelmaking pig iron is currently being sold at RMB 2,200/mt ($284/mt) including 13 percent VAT in China's northern province of Shanxi. Meanwhile, the price of Z18-22 casting pig iron in the same province is RMB 2,300/mt ($297/mt), also including 13 percent VAT.
