Pig iron price in China
L08-10 steelmaking pig iron is currently being sold at RMB 2,080/mt ($268/mt) including 13 percent VAT in China's northern province of Shanxi. The price of Z18-22 casting pig iron in the same province is RMB 2,190/mt ($282/mt), including 13 percent VAT. Some Chinese mills have recently increased their purchasing prices of pig iron.
