L08-10 steelmaking pig iron is currently being sold at RMB 2,000/mt ($254/mt) including 13 percent VAT in the Chinese province of Shanxi. The price of Z18-22 casting pig iron in the same province is RMB 2,110/mt ($268/mt) including 13 percent VAT. The prices in Shanxi can be considered as the base prices for other local markets in China.
