Pig iron producers in the Brazilian southeastern state of Minas Gerais remain closing deals for the export of the steelmaking grade product in a range of $320/mt to $330/mt, FOB conditions, the same as last week, while the nodular grade product is also stable in a range of $360/mt to $370/mt FOB.

Sources tell SteelOrbis that there has been no noticeable impact on demand or prices for Brazilian pig iron exports so far from the problems in China related to the Covid-19 outbreak.
